Does it cost more to work with a broker?
Short answer: in many cases, you don't pay extra to work with a broker. Brokers are often compensated by the insurance company through commissions built into the plan premium.
Important Colorado note: in Colorado, brokers may charge a fee in certain situations (for example, if the broker will not receive a commission), but this requires written disclosure and agreement. No fee can be charged in connection with an enrollment in Medicaid or CHP+.
Our promise: if any broker fee would apply, we disclose it clearly in writing before you decide.
